Rebel Raid's Take on Patrick Ballard
Patrick Ballard is the second prospect from Texas to commit to the Rebels, and comes from the same high school as current Rebel WR, Darren Woods Jr. Ballard is an athletic receiver who uses his body well to block out defenders when making tough catches. At 6'3" and 195 lbs. Ballard has the size to out-muscle defensive backs which enables him to routinely win jump ball battles. He has enough speed to be a deep threat but he's more of a true possession receiver. Ballard joins UNLV football's 2018 recruiting class as another weapon in the talented Rebel receiver corps.
